LESLIE BOGEN WINKLER

One of the first female leaders in property management, Halstead’s former President, Leslie Winkler, has over 45 years of experience with luxury condominiums and cooperatives, rentals, and new construction in New York City.

Leslie attended New York University where she earned her B.A. in education. She briefly taught junior high school physical education before she returned to NYU where she earned a master degree in american history.While working in property mmanagement, she completed all requirements except the dissertation for a PhD in history.

Later, Leslie returned to the NYU Stern School of Business and earned an MBA degree. Upon graduation, she was also admitted to the honorary Beta Gamma Sigma society.

Leslie is still an avid student of american history. She has visited all fifty states of the United States, all but five of the presidential libraries as well as numerous civil rights movement sites.

Having been an executive in multple property management companies, Leslie is familiar with all aspects of the industry, regulation, accountng, property tax issues, utilities to nname a few.

When not working, reading or traveling, Leslie loves to play tennis and cook.
